Silver Creek Valley Country Club Wedding | Brian & Christine

Uncategorized

Christine and Brian’s story started with a simple moment that ended up meaning a lot more. A Facebook photo ten years ago led to a real-life meeting at an SJSU tailgate, where curiosity turned into something real pretty quickly. Their engagement felt just like them too. Brian planned the proposal during their annual Tahoe trip, something they’d been doing for ten years, turning a place that already meant a lot into an even bigger moment.

Their wedding day carried that same easy, natural feeling. The day started early in San Jose with a Vietnamese tea ceremony at their family homes, full of energy, family, and a lot of good food. Brian came to pick up Christine surrounded by everyone they love, and the whole morning just felt alive, with laughter, movement, and different generations all coming together.

From there, everything moved to Silver Creek Valley Country Club. With the mountains and clear skies, it felt open, bright, and just really nice to be in. Before the ceremony, they shared a first look where they exchanged private vows. It was a quiet moment just for the two of them, and it felt like a breath of fresh air in the middle of a full and busy day. The ceremony had a more elegant feel, but it never felt stiff. It still felt light, relaxed, and very them.

The reception started off with an entrance that looked like it was straight out of a club scene with a wedding party holding up bottle-service lights. Things slowed down into the sweetest first dance with them dancing to Blue by Yung Kai. Honestly, it was the perfect first dance song that felt nostalgic, but also calming. Then, we had the traditional lion dancing, which instantly grabbed everyone’s attention and got the energy going. From that point on, the night just kept getting more energetic. They changed from a classic suit and white dress into traditional Vietnamese outfits, which felt like a really natural way to honor both sides of who they are.

What stood out was how present they were with everyone. Christine and Brian went to every table, and was able to show their appreciation to all their guests, laughing, talking, and celebrating with them. It slowly turned into a bit of a frenzy, with each table trying to get them to take shots and drink with them, and honestly, they kept up. Nothing felt rushed, and no one felt like they were just another table.

That kind of set the tone for the whole night. The energy didn’t stay in one place, it moved around the room as they did. You could feel how much people care about them. Friends, family, every generation showed up with the same excitement and love. As the night went on, everything just opened up more. The formal parts faded out, the music got louder, and the dance floor filled up fast.

By the end of the night, it didn’t just feel like a wedding. It felt like a really good reflection of who they are, laidback, genuine, and surrounded by people who truly love them. Christine mentioned to us that photos and video really matter because she knows how important a day like this is. And for both of them, it’s not about everything looking perfect, it’s about remembering how it actually felt to be there.

With love,

Victorio
