Park Winters Wedding in Winters, CA | Andrew & Marcelle

Uncategorized

Park Winters continues to be one of our favorite places to photograph weddings. The property has a rare balance of charm and openness that allows moments to breathe naturally. From the gardens to the historic barn, the light is always soft in the right ways and there is a quiet beauty to the place that never gets old.

For Andrew and Marcelle, their vision was simple and meaningful: a true coming together of families where everyone felt welcomed, present, and ready to celebrate.

Their story started the way a lot of the best ones do, unexpectedly. They met through bowling, and from the beginning, Andrew knew there was something different about Marcelle. The way he describes her says it all: someone with unconditional love, a caring heart, and the kind of selflessness that shows up in the small, genuine ways. She is the person who would make you brownies on your birthday just because. Marcelle sees that same depth in Andrew, someone who goes above and beyond for the people he loves, ambitious and passionate, but also someone who brings a warmth and lightness into every room.

The morning began with Marcelle surrounded by her bridal party, easing into one of the most anticipated moments of the day. When she and Andrew finally saw each other for the first look, everything slowed down. They exchanged private vows, keeping that moment just between them before the rest of the day unfolded. Right after, their bridal party came to celebrate and the energy shifted into something joyful and full.

One of the sweetest moments followed shortly after: Marcelle’s first look with her dad, taking in those last moments together as a family before the ceremony began. Those quiet minutes always carry so much weight, and this one was no different.

The ceremony took place under Park Winters’ century old pecan tree, a setting that perfectly matched the feeling of the whole day. Grounded, heartfelt, and surrounded by the people who matter most.

After the ceremony, we slipped away to the gardens for their couple portraits before rejoining the celebration. From there, Andrew and Marcelle made their grand entrance and the reception officially kicked off outdoors. The evening carried right on from there with their first dance, heartfelt speeches, and parent dances under the open sky.

As the night went on, the celebration moved inside and the energy only picked up from there. The dance floor stayed packed all night and seeing everyone out there together, fully present and celebrating these two, was a perfect way to close out the day.

Andrew and Marcelle, thank you for allowing us to be part of your day. It meant so much to witness the love and community surrounding you both and to capture every moment along the way.
