Some love stories start in the most unexpected places. For Tiffany and Chris, it started at a rave at SJSU back in 2015, and yes, she slid into his DMs. Nearly ten years later, we had the honor of capturing the day they made it official, surrounded by everyone they love at Eagle Ridge in Gilroy.
If you know this couple’s story, you know they’ve never done things the conventional way. Chris finally asked Tiffany to be his girlfriend at a Zedd show… and the rest was history.
When we sat down with Tiffany and Chris before the wedding, we asked them what they love most about one another. Chris lit up talking about Tiffany’s big, caring heart. To everyone else she might be a yapper, but to him, she’s one of the most generous and selfless people he knows. Tiffany loves how spontaneous Chris is, always wanting to try new things, always embracing change, and never afraid to be emotional and proactive in their relationship.
That’s how they described what they are to one another and you could feel it in every moment of their day.
Before their wedding day, we had the honor of capturing not only their engagement shoot, but also their tea ceremony – a beautiful tradition honoring both of their families. That day was when we first noticed how these two families were truly coming together. Watching them offer blessings, share laughter, and shed a few happy tears, we could feel the love that surrounds this couple. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
The wedding day began with one of our favorite moments to capture: a first look and private vows, just the two of them. There’s something so intimate about a couple sharing their words with each other before the ceremony, and having their bridal party witness it from afar made it even more special. You could see how much this moment meant to everyone who loves them.
The ceremony and reception at Eagle Ridge carried that classic feel, elegant and welcoming all at once, with 150 of their closest family and friends there to celebrate. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room during speeches, especially when both of their parents went up to share their words. Tiffany’s dad even pulled out a printout of himself and Chris, complete with a big check mark of approval, and the whole room lost it. And after the tears and the laughter came the celebration. The night was full of love, joy, and a dance floor that did not quit.
Thank you, Tiffany and Chris, for trusting us to capture your day. You two have built something truly beautiful, a love that’s equal parts fun, spontaneous, and deeply rooted. We’re so grateful we got to be there to tell your story, and we wish you a lifetime of adventures together!
Love,
Your friends from FJM!
