Kyle and Ashley's | Brownstone Garden Wedding - Oakley, CA

Kyle & Ashley had their wedding at Brownstone Gardens in Oakley, CA. When I first met these two, we immediately hit it off on our call bonding over things like cooking, videography (Kyle is a talented videographer himself!), K-Pop groups, traveling, and more. My first impressions of these two were lighthearted, chill, and caring. Talking to these two really felt like catching up with old friends and that’s one of the best feelings you could get as a photographer.

Kyle & Ashley insisted that instead of an engagement shoot, that they would have me document their actual civil ceremony day at the San Francisco City Hall. Long story short, this ended up being one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever had at City Hall. This really help set the tone of how the wedding day would play out because of how much fun we had that day.

Kyle describes Ashley as caring and a motherly figure to those around her. Ashley describes Kyle as a “what you see is what you get” type of person and someone who’s slowly developed their humor over the years.

This was the exact depiction of what I experienced with these two throughout the City Hall and wedding experience. On the wedding day, there was never a dull moment between them and their loved ones. I had so much joy meeting Kyle & Ashley’s parents, their bridal party, and even some of their guests. They say “you are who you surround yourself with,” and this couldn’t be more true with Kyle & Ashley. We laughed, sang, danced, cried, and most importantly, stayed present throughout the wedding day.

Going through this gallery, I was really able to immerse myself in all the emotions from that day, and I know that Kyle & Ashley will feel the same. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for entrusting my team to capture your beautiful day.
