Some wedding days instantly remind us why we love what we do and Richard and Eileen’s day at Casa Real was exactly that. We always love coming back to Casa Real to celebrate our couples, but what truly makes weddings here unforgettable isn’t just the venue, it’s the people. And Richard and Eileen brought the kind of energy, love, and community that made the entire day feel wholesome, fun, and deeply meaningful.
Casa Real continues to be one of our favorite places to photograph weddings. The space is elegant and grand without feeling overwhelming, making it the perfect place for people to laugh, cry, and celebrate fully. From the ceremony area to the ballroom reception, the venue gave everyone room to be present and enjoy the moment, which fit Richard and Eileen perfectly.
During the getting ready part of the day, Richard and Eileen were surrounded by a bridal party that was truly there for them. From laughter and encouragement to quiet moments of support, it was clear how much love surrounded them before the day officially began. After their first look, they shared their vows with one another, grounding the day before the celebration began. It gave them space to slow down, breathe, and truly soak in the moment together.
After their ceremony in the garden, the celebration continued as everyone made their way into the reception. Following their grand entrance, Richard and Eileen shared their first dance and parent dances, officially kicking off the night. Before the sun dipped below the horizon, we stepped away just after that moment and wandered out to the vineyard, stealing a few quiet moments together as the light softened and the day slowly began to settle.
When they returned to the reception, the celebration picked right back up. Following a heartfelt moment of toasts, and table visits with their guests, the energy in the room only continued to build. One of the most touching moments of the night came when Eileen honored her mother by gifting her bouquet, choosing a meaningful tribute over a traditional bouquet toss.
As everyone danced the night away, the night came full circle as they ended the reception dancing to “What a Life” by John Summit, the same artist playing when Richard proposed to Eileen at Frost Amphitheater during their four-year anniversary. If you know them, that moment couldn’t have been more them.
Richard & Eileen, congratulations to you both. May your marriage be filled with the same love, joy, and good vibes that surrounded you on your wedding day!
