Lauren & Shashank's Engagement at Chrissy Fields | San Francisco, California

San Francisco is one of my favorite places in the world.

There’s just so much variety when it comes to location - everything from the city to the beach to forests. You get a piece of everything. So when Lauren and Shashank asked me to take their engagement photos in San Francisco, I wanted to revisit one of my favorite places in the city - Chrissy Fields.

My goal by the end of a shoot is to make sure couples are super comfortable not only with each other, but with me.

And by the time Lauren and Shashank stepped on the beach, they were completely themselves. Lauren’s love language is quality of time and Shashank’s is acts of service, and you could totally see it in action while we were shooting. It was fun observing the little they had in between poses and seeing them lounge on each other whenever I went to change a lens. It’s these little things that make every couple unique.
