Kelsy & Tom | Ben Lomond Waterfall Lodge Wedding

Kelsy and Tom.. 

Where do I even begin? These two lovebirds reached out to our team this past year in April. I remembered clearly that we were shy of 1 or 2 weddings from closing out our bookings for the 2021 year. What had caught my eye right away was the fact that these two had met in the E-Sports industry, more specifically at Riot Games. That’s definitely not something you see everyday which is why our job is so exciting. We get to meet different couples all the time.As a former league of legends player, I couldn’t have been more excited to hop on a call with them. 

Right from the get go, I could already tell that these two had such contagious energy. We laughed, shared stories, and connected immediately. Me and Aaron hopped off the call and knew that we wanted to work with these two. From that call, we then had our engagement session in Big Sur which until this day has been one of my all time favorite sessions by far. We jammed out to KPOP + a bunch of pop punk classics and bonded over In n Out following the shoot. I knew from that point, that we were in for an awesome time at the wedding. 

Man, I could go on and on about how much I loved Kelsy and Tom’s wedding day at the Waterfall Lodge in Ben Lomond. From the giant Redwoods that made you feel so immersed when entering the venue to all the details such as: the wedding arch, mobile photo-booth, string lights, and even the guest name-tags in the form of Disneyland fast passes?! I think this is what they meant by #GOALS. 

There was so much that I remembered during the day, but one moment that stood out to me the most was when Kelsy had just finished her vows and Tom immediately responded “Same”. That had to be one of the funniest responses I had ever seen at any wedding, but if you knew these two, that wouldn’t even be much of a surprise. Other notable moments included the sweetest first look, seeing the boba table for the first time, making smores with the family over the fire pit, and of course seeing Tom dance with his mother to A Day to Remember?! The list goes on. 

Overall, I could confidently say that this wedding was one for the books and we’re SO glad that you guys trusted us to be a part of this huge milestone in your lives. We appreciate you guys dearly and I hope you enjoy the rest of the gallery!
