Andy and Sandy's Wedding at the HL Peninsula Pearl

Love stories have always been about standing the test of time, and Andy and Sandy's is no exception. And after 8 years of being together and a destination wedding later, they decided to bring their loved ones together for a grand celebration.
Andy and Sandy's love story dates back to middle school. Little did they know that destiny had plans for them beyond those classrooms. You know it’s love when your future husband is in Europe, surrounded by his friends who wanted to go on wild adventures, but he can't help but text you throughout the trip.
Friendship served as the foundation of their relationship, and it was a constant thread woven throughout their love story.
Ask Andy to describe Sandy and he would say she's "hella funny" and incredibly caring, but only if you're on her good side. Her humor never fails to brighten their days. Sandy sees Andy as dependable—a rock she can always count on. He has always guided her through highs and lows.
Their unwavering support and dedication formed the backbone of their relationship, leading them through eight beautiful years of love and growth.
Their wedding day was nothing short of energy and love.
Their friends have known each other from middle school to high school and even college. You could tell that everyone at the wedding was part of one big family. Many of their friends all grew up in Hayward, and the chemistry and bond they all carried showed during the reception. Their bridal party of 18 came out to party!
Some highlights from the wedding included our team being a part of their extended family and being welcomed into their homes for the tea ceremony, Andy’s loving grandfather with his heartwarming smile, and the lion dancing at the reception (we loved when the dancers would go to each table and dance in front of the guests). It was such an awesome sight to capture.
From Andy and Sandy’s humble beginnings as friends throughout grade school to an adventurous destination wedding in Portugal, to a grand celebration, their love story is one that inspires and reminds us of the beauty found in genuine, long-lasting connections. As they step into their future hand in hand, we raise a toast to Andy and Sandy, wishing them a lifetime of laughter, love, and countless shared adventures 🥂
