Nathan & Ingrid's Wedding | A San Francisco Love Story at Fort Mason

There are so many songs about love in San Francisco. From "I left my heart in San Francisco" by Tony Bennet to Foxygen's "San Francisco", it's easy to see why so many people cherish this place.

And it's funny - even after years of capturing weddings, I never had a chance to capture one in San Francisco. But with Nathan and Ingrid's wedding, that changed.

Their wedding took place in Fort Mason, a former United States Army post located in the northern Marina district, alongside the San Francisco Bay. It's a historic venue that has been repurposed to serve all kinds of events everything from festivals to weddings (like this one!)

Nathan and Ingrid have been together for more than a decade, and it showed during the ceremony: their love for each other was in every word, gesture, and pinky promise. Ingrid would describe Nathan as loving and genuine, and Nathan would describe Ingrid as calm, patient, and wholehearted. They had some of their closest family and friends there to celebrate with them on this special day. In fact, I've known Nathan for as long as he was together with Ingrid, and I got to reunite with some friends.

There were way too many highlights to list, but some of them include having an editorial-style photoshoot at sunset in the venue (we had incredible light), the flower "man", the handmade sushi served at the reception, the botanical flowers in the venue, a live painter that painted the venue and everyone in it, and all kinds of energy—you could tell everyone involved was just so ecstatic.

Congrats again, Nathan & Ingrid! Thanks so much for letting me capture one of the greatest moments of your life.
