Blanco Urban Wedding | Nuna & Eric
We had the absolute pleasure of capturing the wedding of our dear friends, Eric & Nuna. We’ve known these two for quite some time, thanks to our mutual buddy Mark, and it’s always special when you get to capture a wedding for friends.
Their big day took place at the beautiful Blanco Urban in downtown San Jose, right inside San Pedro Square. We’ve shot at this venue many times and have always been taken aback with how beautiful it is.
This wedding was filled with so many memorable moments, especially since it felt like a reunion of our closest friends. There’s nothing quite like capturing a wedding where it feels like you’re not working because of how much fun you’re having. Don’t get us even started with the dance floor. That might’ve been one of the best highlights of the day since we were able to witness something from Eric which we’ve never seen before – when he danced to Pony by Ginuwine and danced on Nuna. Eric.. I gotta give it to you. That was probably the craziest thing we’ve ever seen you done. Never was there a dull moment on the dance floor.
One of the unique touches we loved was the personalized newspaper they created for their guests, called “The Newlywed Post.” It was such a fun detail and included everything from their love story to honeymoon plans, shout-outs to their amazing vendors, crossword puzzles, and so much more. It was a hit and a great way to keep guests entertained during cocktail hour.
The reception was just as emotional and heartfelt as you’d expect. The speeches were incredible, leaving hardly a dry eye in the room. And watching Eric & Nuna make their rounds, visiting each table, you could just feel the love pouring out from their family and friends. It was one of those weddings where you could really appreciate how present the couple was and we were there to simply capture it.
Thank you Nuna and Eric for having FJM be a part of your wedding day! We’re so excited to see where life takes you two.
Cheers,
David
