Love truly works in mysterious ways, and I get to see it firsthand with all the beautiful couples I meet, each with a unique story to tell. One such story is Jessica and Sen. These two have known each other since the third grade and despite drifting in and out of each other’s lives over the years, something always drew them back together. They’ve been inseparable for over 10 years now, ever since high school!

Their love is sweet, gentle, and special—like finding the “X” on a treasure map. Speaking of treasures, Sen proposed to Jessica with a scavenger hunt that took her from her childhood home to their old elementary school, and both of their parents’ houses. The final clue led her to Treasure Island, where the ring was waiting! How adorable is that?

When David and I met them for their engagement session at the SF Botanical Gardens, their playful chemistry was undeniable. The love they shared was so deep, I couldn’t help but tear up when they danced to their song, “Still Into You” by Paramore (the acoustic version, of course).

Their wedding day was a testament to the rich history they have with their friends and family. The love and warmth surrounding them was definitely felt, with heartfelt stories shared about their character and the beautiful moments they’ve created together. One part that stood out to us was when Sen was brought out a championship belt from his best man. That’s something we’ve never seen at a wedding before so it was quite the jaw-dropping moment for all of us.

When asked about the secret to their strong relationship, they said: “we like each other enough to go through the hard stuff.” It’s a sentiment that really resonates—because no relationship is without its challenges especially seeing how long they’ve been together.
