Aparna and Jason’s wedding was more than just a single day. It was a week-long celebration of love, family, and culture coming together in the heart of Napa Valley. Friends and relatives flew in from around the world to celebrate two people whose story was as vibrant as it was heartfelt. From the get-go, we were welcomed in with open arms from the couple and their families and that truly set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable week of connection and celebration.

Their ceremonies took place at Tre Posti, surrounded by golden vineyards and the warmth of the California sun. What made this wedding truly special was how beautifully Jason’s Jewish traditions and Aparna’s Hindu heritage came together. The week unfolded with color, ritual, and emotion from both sides, creating something meaningful and unique. Every part of it felt intentional, a true reflection of their love and respect for each other’s backgrounds.

When the silent disco started, the night came alive. Guests slipped on glowing headphones, dancing to everything from Bollywood hits to American pop songs. From the outside, it looked like beautiful chaos, but underneath it all was connection, rhythm, and joy moving perfectly together.

From the start, Aparna and Jason told us they wanted their day captured in a way that felt real and unposed. They even joked that they were “the most awkward people ever on camera,” which instantly made us smile. We reassured them that our job isn’t to make them perform but to let them be present with their favorite people.

Our focus was simply to stay present and observant, letting moments unfold naturally. We watched the story take shape through laughter, tears, and all the quiet little in-between moments that make a wedding feel alive. That kind of authenticity is what we value most and it’s exactly what their day was full of.

This was our first Hindu-Jewish American wedding, and it left a deep impression on all of us. The colors, sounds, and emotions carried so much meaning and heart. It reminded us why we do what we do - because weddings like this are not just about the final photos or film, they are about connection, belonging, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself.

As the sun set over the vineyards, it felt like the whole valley was celebrating with them. Aparna and Jason’s wedding wasn’t just a union of two people. It was the blending of two worlds into one unforgettable story.
