Susan & Ben's Wedding at the Deer Park Villa | Fairfax, California

I can’t think of a more adventurous couple than Susan & Ben.

I remember hearing about their engagement and how Ben proposed to Susan at Alamere Falls, an incredible hike in Northern California with a waterfall on the beach that flows into the Pacific Ocean. And when they couldn’t have their wedding in 2020, they decided to have an elopement in Yosemite one of our favorite places in the world.

When we find a couple that is as adventurous as us, it’s automatic chemistry.

During our first consultation, we asked Ben & Susan what they enjoyed the most about our photography and videography, and they loved the natural lighting, the outdoors, and the candid style. The Deer Park Villa was perfect for this. It’s a venue that can only be described as majestic. the ceremony and reception area are located within a Redwood grove and garden, a perfect venue for nature lovers.

When I think of Ben & Susan’s wedding, I think of intimacy, magical, and fun.

Everything from Eric (Ben’s best man) squeezing into a dress to share the love with Susan, to the incredible Deer Park venue, tucked in the Redwood Forest, to the wads of cash being thrown in the air while the bridal party made their grand entrance. It was for sure the most lit Monday wedding I’ve ever photographed.
